At Tweedsmuir Ski Club, we offer a unique and unparalleled skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling experience that cannot be found anywhere else. Our picturesque location and fully equipped overnight backcountry cabin offer the perfect setting for a winter getaway.

Located entirely within the unspoiled Tweedsmuir Park near Bella Coola, BC. Tweedsmuir Ski Club is a low key, fully volunteer-powered snow sports club that has been attracting a small but passionate group of snow sport enthusiasts for over 50 years.

Discover our incredibly beautiful 20 km trail circuit all maintained by our dedicated volunteers. The area designated for cross country is off limits to all snowmobiles and is legendary for the long season we experience.

The South Tweedsmuir Park recreation area, located within the western edge of the Chilcotin range, is where you’ll find a hidden alpine rec area designed to respect wildlife habitat and ideal for deep powder snowmobiling.

Backcountry Overnight Cabin

An out of this world experience

Insiders and those-in-the-know book this beautiful, authentic backcountry log cabin for overnight stays unlike any other. Enjoy the quiet serenity of camping in the mountains, in comfort.

Our ski-in (snowshoe-in, snowmobile-in) cabin sleeps up to 9, and is equipped with a wood stove (firewood supplied), 3-burner propane stove and lights, cooking gear and outhouse, with hookups for an optional BYO generator. It’s magical!
